Qantas Scanner Sees Through Cloths
In an article posted by News.com.au, a new scanner is going to be in place for folks taking Qantas flights out of Melbourne. The scanner is “new technology” allowing screeners to see through passengers cloths. Of course, this is another measure in airline safety to make sure passengers do not carry anything harmful aboard an aircraft.
Currently, passengers will have to give approval to be screened by the machines. The goal now, according to the article, isĀ to gaugeĀ the responses from passengers by officals using the new devise.
Really, what does it matter? I mean, we are all human, right? One has seen another in the buff once in their life. Plus, for the safety for the collective, I think passengers should go through such screening.
Time will tell if it will be fully excepted by travelers in Australia.
