OZtralia.tv’s brother site Broadway.tv had the chance to catch up with Olivia Newton-John in New York. The hot topic of the night was her recent marrage and also her cancer center that will soon be opening in Melbourne.
Also performing at the event were Simon Burke, Amanda Harrision and David Campbell.
We had the chance to catch up with David Campbell while he was in New York this week. While recently in Australia, we heard Campbell all the time on the “Hot Tomato” on the Gold Coast, so it was great to finally meet him in person, even if it was in New York.
Campbell was in New York participating in the one night only “Australia Plays Broadway” event with fellow Australian icons Olivia Newton-John as well as Simon Burke who hosted the event. Amanda Harrison also made an appearance. Harrison is currently playing in the Australian version of WICKED.
Campbell has had three platinum albums in Australia in the last three years and his most recent song just made it in the top ten in the Australian charts.
