Dag : a funny or silly person
Daks : trousers
Damper : bread made from flour and water
Dead horse : Tomato sauce (don’t think about this too long)
Dinkum, fair dinkum : true, real, genuine ( “is he fair dinkum?”)
Dinky-di : the real thing, genuine
Dob (somebody) in : inform on somebody (known on British cop series The Bill as ‘grassing’)
Dummy, spit the : get very upset at something
Dunny : outside lavatory
Dunny budgie : blowfly
Dunny rat, cunning as a : very cunning
